Privacy Policy
Youth Basketball Tips, an independent publication at youth-basketball-tips.com, publishes this policy for its adult readers. Last revised October 16, 2026. Contact hello@youth-basketball-tips.com with a privacy request. Do not include child information.
What this site loads
The site serves static pages, original diagrams, local font files and ungated PDF worksheets. Its first-party consent script requests country and region information from /api/geo. The edge service derives that response from the request; the page does not ask for a precise location.
The consent script can store a choice under site-consent in your browser’s local storage. The current configuration has no Google Analytics measurement ID, so it does not load the Google Analytics library. It has no advertising, newsletter, email opt-in, third-party video embed or player account system. No Cloudflare analytics beacon is included in this build.
Site search uses a same-origin static Pagefind index in your browser. Search terms are not submitted to an external search provider. The first-party click script can keep incoming campaign labels under click-utm in session storage for the current tab. A link marked sponsored can send its offer identifier, source path and those labels to /api/click. Equipment comparisons contain tagged Amazon product links; purchases take place on Amazon under its own policies.
Product cards can display images from Amazon’s image host when the site’s image service has a current image record. Your browser then requests that image from Amazon’s host. Without an image record the card remains readable as text. No Amazon credential is sent to your browser, and there is no checkout or payment form on this site.
Hosting and ordinary requests
Hosting infrastructure receives ordinary request information, including an IP address, URL and browser headers, to deliver and protect the site. This policy does not claim that such server processing never occurs. Server-log retention is not specified by this static build; ask the publication about a particular request. The page scripts do not create a player profile or store practice results. The practice planner keeps its group-level choices and edited minutes only in the open page. It does not transmit or save them, and it has no fields for child information.
Adult contact messages
Emailing the contact address sends the information you choose to include through email infrastructure. Use only what is needed to describe the issue. Messages are used to handle the inquiry or correction, not to add you to marketing. There is no automatic mailing list. Ask for deletion of a message by identifying the thread without adding sensitive information. Records needed to document a correction or meet a legal obligation may need to be kept; no fixed mailbox retention period is promised here.
Your choices
You can clear site-consent in browser storage or use the reset control below. Campaign storage ends with the browser tab’s session and can also be cleared in browser settings. The site honors its consent script’s Global Privacy Control check for California requests. Because optional analytics is not configured, resetting consent does not activate an analytics service.
The cookie policy lists the storage keys. With JavaScript disabled, the scripts and their storage actions do not run; the articles, diagrams and worksheet links remain readable.
Children and changes
The publication is intended for adults. It does not invite child registrations, messages, photos, rosters or performance records. If a message accidentally includes such data, tell the publication which message so it can be removed where possible. This policy will be revised when the actual scripts or data flows change.
